Southeastern Welcomes the Class of 2030 Through Upcoming Summer Bridge Program

Southeastern is excited to welcome the incoming Class of 2030 through its upcoming Summer Bridge Program designed to help freshmen transition smoothly into high school while building confidence, connections, and school pride before the first day of classes.

The Summer Bridge Program gives incoming ninth-grade students an opportunity to become familiar with the school, meet teachers and staff, connect with future classmates, and learn what it means to be a part of the Southeastern family. The program is focused on helping students feel prepared, supported, and excited as they begin their high school journey.

Throughout the program, students will participate in engaging activities that introduce them to academic expectations, school culture, extracurricular opportunities, and important resources available on campus. Students will also have opportunities to explore the building, practice navigating their schedules, and receive tips for success in high school.

In addition to academics, the Summer Bridge Program emphasizes relationship-building, teamwork, and personal growth. Icebreakers, leadership activities, and group projects will help students create friendships and feel more comfortable entering a new environment.

School leaders and staff understand that the transition from middle school to high school can feel overwhelming for many students and families. The Summer Bridge Program is designed to ease those concerns by creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students can ask questions, gain confidence, and start building a strong foundation for success.

The program also introduces students to the many opportunities available at Southeastern, including athletics, clubs, arts programs, leadership organizations, and career-focused pathways. Incoming freshmen will learn how to get involved early and make the most of their high school experience.

As Southeastern prepares to welcome the Class of 2030, the Summer Bridge Program represents more than just orientation — it is the beginning of a new chapter filled with opportunity, growth, and community.

Incoming freshmen and families are encouraged to participate and take advantage of this exciting opportunity to start high school strong. Scan the QR code to register your incoming freshman for the Summer Bridge Program and begin your journey as a Jungaleer!
